(October 13, 2025) — The draft Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit Annual Report, prepared by Oak Lodge Water Services (OLWS), is now available for public review and comment.​​

The MS4 Permit Annual Report outlines the strategies and activities OLWS implements to meet watershed protection goals, as required by our MS4 Permit. These efforts include activities such as monitoring illicit discharges, managing stormwater runoff, and conducting public education and outreach.

The MS4 Permit, issued by the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), regulates stormwater discharges and aims to prevent pollutants from entering storm sewers. Our permit was last renewed on October 1, 2021, and requires annual public reporting.

As part of this process, we invite public input on the 2024–2025 Annual Report. Please submit comments to aaron.janicke@olws.org no later than November 12, 2025, for consideration.
